well, there was linux, but it didn't have a gui yet so it wasn't all that interesting, i think the computer world did back then what the economical world is doing now. things got much better though, steve jobbs is back and making... "entertaning" creations, ms is teasing every1 with screenshots and release dates of win7, and the linux community is thriving in a period of exponential growth.

I owned a PowerBook 150 and by today's standards, it was a really primitive computer. It didn't even have a modem or a color screen and you couldn't watch movies or listen to music on it. Also, the backlight on the monitor quit working after 2 years and I took it to an Apple dealear and I was told it would be more expensive to fix the monitor than it would cost to buy a new computer.

For me, they started to became awesome in these things when they created machines with strong processors and tech, a great design by Jon Ive and, specially, the integration of OS X (Panther, Tiger, Leopard)

mm let me just analyse this, you're criticying the people that are watching this video (but you're one of them dumbass xD), besides, from my perspective, I think most of the people would look for this video not just because invented it, but because it was one of the first laptops that were ever created
